Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin is an American comedian, writer and director on YouTube. She is also a podcaster, and advocate for mental health. She previously worked as a writer at BuzzFeed Video but left in 2015 together with the writer she partnered with and her friend Gabe Dunn to pursue work in their YouTube channel for comedy Just Between Us. Raskin was born in Manhattan on 20 June 1989 to her Jewish parent and a father, was raised in the home of her father and mother. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Southern California. Jamin Raskin is an American lawyer, professor of law as well as a politician. She has been elected the U.S. Representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district from 2017, since she was born on the 13th day of December 1962. Law professors served as the principal prosecutor in Trump's 2nd impeachment hearing. Rep. Jamie Raskin is not seeking the Maryland Senate's vacant seat, but will run again for the House for a second term as chair of House Oversight and Accountability Committee. Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac and many other wealthiest suburban areas of Washington, D.C., are located within the 8th District. Rockville, Silver Spring, and Bethesda comprise the more diverse and economic neighborhoods in the district. Maryland is a constituent state of the United States of America. It is one of the 13 original states and lies in the middle of the Eastern Seaboard, a great area of commercial and population from Maine up to Virginia.
